Hi, It’s me Nikki

People often tell me, “You’re the happiest person I know,” or “You’re always so happy!” But am I? Was I? Like everyone, my happiness lives on a continuum. And no one is happy all the time.

After more than 20 years leading people and teams in the fast-paced world of advertising, I reached a turning point. In 2018, I quietly tiptoed out of my corporate career—well, truthfully, I ran out cheering—and began to reflect deeply on what truly makes people thrive at work.

I realized there was a gap in workplace well-being. Culture wasn’t just about parties, yoga classes, or perks—it was about purpose, trust, and human connection. Too many talented people were burning out, disengaged, or simply going through the motions. I wanted to change that.

Ever the lifelong learner (and self-proclaimed research nerd), I dove headfirst into the science of happiness—eventually earning my Master’s in Happiness Studies as part of the inaugural cohort led by Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar. I’m also a credentialed ICF coach, with certifications in Positive Psychology, Chief Happiness Officer training, Laughter Yoga Leadership, Mindfulness & Meditation, and as an Organizational Happiness Trainer.

Today, as a Chief Happiness Officer and Human Flourishing Consultant, I help organizations turn well-being into a strategic advantage. My work blends the science of happiness, positive psychology, and emerging technologies like AI to create cultures that are both human-centered and future-ready. I partner with leaders to design workplaces where people feel valued, connected, and inspired to do their best work—because when people flourish, organizations flourish.

I’m also the Co-Founder of Mingle & Marvel, Canada’s first Happiness Centre, where we help students, teachers, and parents strengthen well-being through programs that foster connection, purpose, and fulfillment.

Having navigated the wild jungles of corporate life, I’ve seen firsthand that well-being and performance aren’t opposites—they’re partners. Now, I bring science, strategy, and a sense of humour to help people embrace life’s rollercoaster with resilience and joy.

I thrive on new experiences and diverse interactions—offering fresh (and often funny) perspectives that remind us not to take ourselves too seriously. Life, after all, is an artistic journey meant to be played with, not lived inside a box.
